Arrived very well packaged, and looking healthy after a three day journey. Question asked of seller regarding care of my new pets was quickly and comprehensively answered. Overall, very happy with purchase. I have now ordered a grow lamp for them as not seen the sun since they arrived.

TIPS at bottom for new growers.........I have had venus fly traps since a child. Im now 36, yup I no everything that needs to be known. This means a fact that I no is this is the place to buy venus plants from!.. I got a single one as a test, it is thriving with its flower offering a fake 3 course meal for flies. I got another x3, there was a packaging error but they instantly sent 3 more out with like the 1st secure packaging so they are perfect.. ( clearly a 1 off error ). Like everyone else should, I will be back buying more! Can't have to many of these :) :).....tip for new people......only use bottled water or rain. ( never tap ). Re pot them in a pre mix venus fly trap soil. It has a better water flow than compost and that soil is pure cleaned, they can be fussy.. only use certain feed ( if you no what your doing )... if they go black dont panic as they can regenerate themselves..... even though it is tempting, (( NEVER )) force them to close with your finger or a tiny object, each close takes a lot of energy from the trap and you can halm it doing so, they thrive on sunlight but if you have a hot day due shift them to cover or indoors, you dont want to bake your baby plant.. some say play a little music to them as helps there mood of growing but its not proven. Im not doing it this test

Unpacking & First Care

What should I do when my plant arrives?

Unpack it as soon as possible! Remove all wrapping carefully, check the soil moisture, and place the plant in bright, indirect light to help it settle after its journey.

My plant looks a bit droopy after shipping — is that normal?

Yes! Plants can experience mild stress from travel. Give it 2–3 days in gentle light, avoid repotting immediately, and water lightly if the soil is dry. Most plants perk up quickly.

Should I water my plant right after it arrives?

Check the soil first. If it feels dry an inch below the surface, water lightly. If it’s still moist, wait a few days before watering again — overwatering too soon can cause stress.

What if there’s some soil out of the pot or a broken leaf?

Minor soil displacement or leaf damage can happen during transit — it’s normal and doesn’t harm the plant’s health. Gently remove any broken leaves and give the plant a few days to recover.

Can I repot my new plant right away?

It’s best to wait about 2–4 weeks before repotting. This gives the plant time to adjust to its new environment. When ready, use fresh, well-draining soil and a pot with drainage holes.

What’s the best spot to put my new plant?

Most plants prefer bright, indirect light — near a window but not in direct sun. Avoid placing it next to heating vents, air conditioners, or drafty doors.

How often should I water my houseplants?

How much light do indoor plants need?
