🌿 Returns & Refunds Policy
At Tropical Plants UK, we want every plant you receive to bring a little happiness to your home. We promise your plants will arrive alive, healthy, and carefully packed — ready to thrive. Because plants are living things, a little variation or adjustment period is perfectly normal, but we always stand by the quality of what we send.
🌱 Our Quality Commitment
Every plant is hand-selected and inspected before shipping to make sure it meets our high standards.
If something doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll work with you to make it right — your satisfaction is our priority.
If your order arrives damaged or in poor condition, simply send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery, and we’ll replace or refund it — no hassle.
📸 If there’s a problem when your plant arrives (within 48 hours)
We take great care when packing and sending our plants, but sometimes things can happen in transit.
If your plant isn’t in good condition when it arrives, please email info@tropicalplantsuk.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Include:
Your order number and name
A few clear photos of the plant and packaging
A short note explaining what’s wrong
We’ll take a look and, if we’re at fault, we’ll replace the plant or issue a full refund right away.
If we don’t hear from you within 48 hours, we’ll assume your plant arrived happy and healthy.
🌼 Fair Returns Within 30 Days
We understand that sometimes plants don’t settle in as expected. If your plant dies unexpectedly within 30 days of delivery, please reach out.
We’ll review the situation (including photos and care details) and if we feel it’s fair, we’ll offer a refund or replacement.
Because every plant and environment is unique, each case is handled individually — we’ll always do our best to reach a fair outcome for everyone.
📦 Before Returning a Plant
Please don’t send anything back without contacting us first — we might be able to help revive your plant!
If a return is approved, the plant must be:
In its original pot and packaging
In the same condition as when it arrived (not re-potted, pruned, or altered)
Accompanied by proof of purchase
If the issue is our fault, we’ll cover postage costs. Otherwise, return postage is the customer’s responsibility.
🌳 What’s Not Covered
Because we work with living, growing things, our policy doesn’t cover:
Natural variations in colour, size, or leaf shape — every plant is beautifully unique
Plants that have been re-potted, pruned, or moved from their original pot
Damage caused by improper care, neglect, or environmental stress (light, temperature, watering etc.)
Missed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or parcels left outdoors at the customer’s request
🌸 Missing a Plant?
If something’s missing from your order, please contact us straight away at info@tropicalplantsuk.com.
We check every box carefully before it leaves our nursery, but if we’ve made a mistake, we’ll put it right immediately — by sending a replacement or refunding the missing item.
💳 Refunds
Once your refund is approved, it will be processed within 7 working days back to your original payment method (please allow a little extra time for your bank to show it).
